Product News | Luming Aluminum has unveiled a groundbreaking side‑pressure sealing window system, with four core performance attributes leading the global high‑end doors and windows market.
Release Date:2026-06-25

Focusing on the core needs of global green buildings—noise reduction and energy efficiency in high-end residences, as well as safety protection against extreme climates—Shandong Luming Aluminum Industry has officially launched its brand-new, self-developed product: the Side-Pressure Sealed Window System—Wind-Resistant and Soundproof Series. Leveraging its independently developed fully parallel side-pressure sealing drive intelligent sealing technology, this system overcomes the traditional performance limitations of sliding windows, delivering a high-performance, long-lasting, and aesthetically appealing systematic window and door solution to the overseas high-end construction market. The product is now available for global pre-sales and will be officially released worldwide in Q3 2026.

This new side-pressure sealed window system is built around an original Omni-Glide™ mechanical four-link variable-diameter mechanism, which redefines the logic of window opening/closing and sealing, achieving all-round performance innovation. During the opening and closing phases, the sealing strip maintains a safe gap of 3–5 mm from the window frame, providing a friction-free, lightweight sliding experience and completely eliminating the common issues of sticking and hardware wear found in traditional windows. At the locking stage, a vertical side-pressure transmission structure ensures uniform pressure on the highly elastic EPDM sealing strip, delivering exceptional sealing performance. According to authoritative testing, the product meets the highest international standards: air tightness at ASTM E283 Grade 40 and EN 12207 Class 4, with an air infiltration rate reduced by more than 85% compared to conventional sliding windows, and water tightness reaching the AW level of 700 Pa—perfectly suited for extreme weather conditions such as coastal heavy rain and strong wind pressures.

In terms of enhancing living comfort, the product features multi-chamber thermal break aluminum alloy profiles and triple-glazed, double-cavity low-emissivity insulated glass, creating a comprehensive acoustic and thermal barrier. Its sound insulation rating (STC/Rw) exceeds 42 dB, effectively blocking noise from urban traffic, airports, and railway lines. The overall window heat transfer coefficient is as low as 0.85 W/(m²·K), meeting international passive house standards, helping users reduce air conditioning and heating energy costs by 30%–40% annually, and precisely aligning with the demands of overseas low-carbon buildings and zero-energy community developments.

Regarding safety, the system incorporates distributed heavy-duty stainless steel mushroom-head locking points around the entire window perimeter. Integrated side-pressure transmission rods link these locks, forming a rigid interlocking protective structure. Wind resistance has passed the highest-level ASTM E330 P3 test at ≥4.5 kPa, capable of withstanding Category 16 super hurricanes, while its anti-theft performance meets European RC2 and North American PAS 24 certifications, thoroughly addressing the longstanding safety concerns of traditional sliding windows—weak locking points, easy prying, and shaking, deformation, or detachment under severe storms.

In terms of aesthetics and durability, the product adopts a minimalist narrow-frame design, reducing the visible frame width by 35% and increasing daylight penetration by 15%, perfectly complementing modern high-end architectural aesthetics. Core hardware components have undergone 50,000 trouble-free opening/closing cycles, utilizing aerospace-grade alloys, stainless steel tracks, and UV-resistant composite sealing strips, with a designed service life of up to 25 years. It can withstand harsh overseas environments characterized by intense ultraviolet radiation and alternating high and low temperatures, significantly lowering long-term building maintenance costs.

Currently, this product series has obtained NFRC, AAMA, and WDMA certifications in North America, as well as EU CE certification and German PHI Passive House certification. It complies with LEED green building standards and RoHS 2.0 and REACH environmental regulations, fully meeting the准入 requirements of major overseas markets including North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. The product also supports custom oversized dimensions, multiple glass configurations, and over one hundred international color options for coating services, comprehensively satisfying personalized procurement needs for high-end residences, green buildings, and luxury commercial spaces.
